Two English Bulldog Puppies Stolen During Residential Burglary in West Salina
The Salina Police Department is investigating a burglary after two English Bulldog puppies were stolen from a residence in west Salina.
According to authorities, residents reported that an unknown suspect entered their home through an unsecured door during the overnight hours of June 24, 2026, and stole two puppies that were only two weeks old.
The puppies had been housed in the kitchen with their mother and three littermates. The owner told investigators the puppies were last seen around midnight. When a resident checked on them at approximately 6:00 a.m., two of the puppies were missing.
Three individuals were inside the residence at the time of the burglary, but none reported hearing any unusual noises during the night.
The stolen puppies are described as:
•A male English Bulldog puppy that is black with white markings on its head.
•A female English Bulldog puppy that is black and gray with a white face and a white-and-pink ear.
The owner estimated the value of each puppy at approximately $5,000, bringing the total loss to about $10,000.
The investigation is ongoing, and no suspects have been identified.
