North Santa Fe Avenue Closing for Utility Line Repairs
The City of Salina Utilities Department is closing a section of North Santa Fe Avenue while crews complete utility line repairs.
The work begins Wednesday, July 8, on North Santa Fe Avenue between Pine Street and Elm Street. The city said that section of roadway will be closed to through traffic during construction.
The project is expected to take three to four weeks to complete, weather permitting.
Traffic control barriers will be in place to protect workers and the public. Motorists are asked to follow the posted detour to Ninth Street and avoid the work zone when possible.
