Stolen Chevy Tahoe Recovered in North Salina
A vehicle reported stolen out of Concordia was recovered Tuesday afternoon in north Salina.
According to the Salina Police Department, an officer on routine patrol at approximately 3:00 p.m. on July 8, 2026, observed a white Chevy Tahoe parked in the 1100 block of North Ninth Street that was suspected to be stolen.
Officers confirmed the vehicle had been reported stolen in Concordia, Kansas, and made contact with a passenger who was inside the vehicle at the time.
Police reported there was no driver present when officers arrived. Investigators interviewed the passenger, who provided information regarding a possible suspect believed to have been driving the vehicle.
The passenger was released at the scene, and the Concordia Police Department was notified of the vehicle’s recovery.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no arrests have been announced at this time.
