Salina Man Arrested Following Domestic Disturbance
A Salina man was arrested Thursday night following a domestic disturbance in east Salina.
According to the Salina Police Department, officers responded at approximately 8:45 p.m. on July 16, 2026, to the 500 block of East Kirwin Avenue regarding a domestic incident.
During the investigation, officers determined a 21-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man identified as Dominic Cook had been involved in a verbal argument.
Police reported that during the dispute, the woman attempted to call a relative for assistance when Cook allegedly grabbed the phone from her hand. The phone was damaged during the incident.
Cook was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Saline County Jail.
He was booked on requested charges of Robbery and Criminal Damage to Property.
The case remains under investigation.
