Schilling Road to Close for Railroad Crossing Repairs Starting July 21

The City of Salina Public Works Department announced that a portion of Schilling Road near the railroad tracks east of Ray Avenue will be closed to traffic beginning Tuesday, July 21, to allow Union Pacific Railroad to carry out repairs to the crossing.

During the closure, traffic will be detoured through Ray Avenue and Neal Avenue. The repairs are expected to take two to three days, weather permitting.

Drivers are advised to plan for alternate routes in the area while the work is underway.
