Woman Arrested After Alleged Threat at Salina Dollar General
A woman was arrested Thursday night after allegedly making threats inside a Salina retail store.
According to the Salina Police Department, officers responded at approximately 9:00 p.m. on July 16, 2026, to Dollar General following a report of threats being made inside the business.
Employees told officers that Rachel Vogan, 56, entered the store and requested access to the restroom. After being allowed to use the restroom, Vogan allegedly told an employee that she was going to kill everyone.
The statement caused concern for store employees, who immediately contacted law enforcement.
Officers located Vogan inside the store and took her into custody without incident.
Vogan was transported to the Saline County Jail and booked on a requested charge of Criminal Threat.
The investigation remains ongoing.
