Salina Man Arrested Following Aggravated Sexual Battery Investigation

On July 17, 2026, at approximately 9:00 p.m., officers responded to a garage in the 600 block of Washington following a report of a sexual assault.

The investigation determined a 29-year-old female had been contacted by a known associate, Anthony Robles, 35, of Salina, who asked her to bring him cigarettes. The female went to a garage where Robles was staying and, upon entering, Robles allegedly closed the door and refused to allow her to leave.

According to the victim, Robles accused her of wearing a wire, forced her to remove her clothing, and subjected her to unwanted sexual contact. The victim was able to leave the location and contact law enforcement.

When officers arrived, they observed Robles at the scene. Robles initially fled but complied with commands to stop and was taken into custody without further incident.

Investigators determined Robles did not have permission to be staying in the garage and had previously been told not to be on the property. He was booked into the Saline County Jail on charges of Aggravated Sexual Battery, Criminal Restraint, and Criminal Trespass.
