Carter Faces 9 Charges Including Interference With Law Enforcement Officer
Bethanny Jean Carter is facing nine charges in Saline County District Court, according to Kansas District Court records.
The charges were filed July 21, 2026, after alleged conduct on July 20.
The filing lists allegations of interference with a law enforcement officer, fleeing or attempting to elude a law enforcement officer by reckless driving, three counts of battery on a law enforcement officer, driving under the influence, reckless driving, speeding, and improper driving on a laned roadway.
The felony-level allegations are interference with a law enforcement officer and fleeing or attempting to elude by reckless driving. The remaining counts are misdemeanors or traffic infractions, according to the court record.
