Salina Man Arrested After Juvenile Suffers Broken Nose During Altercation
A Salina man was arrested after a juvenile reportedly suffered a broken nose during an altercation at a residence.
On August 2 at approximately 2 p.m., an officer responded to a local hospital regarding a reported battery involving a juvenile under the age of 16. According to police, the juvenile reported being involved in an altercation with individuals they lived with at their residence.
Investigators determined the juvenile sustained what appeared to be a broken nose during the incident.
The suspect was identified as 40-year-old Joseph Forsberg. Police said Forsberg and the juvenile were known acquaintances who lived in the same household.
According to investigators, the altercation stemmed from household-related issues that escalated into a physical confrontation.
Forsberg was arrested and booked into the Saline County Jail on a charge of aggravated battery. The investigation remains ongoing.
