Salina311 will provide live coverage of Tuesday’s primary election, with this single story serving as the central location for results and updates from races affecting Saline County.
Polls close at 7 p.m. Results are expected to begin arriving afterward, although the timing will depend on ballot counting and when information is released by election officials.
Readers should refresh this story throughout the evening. Salina311 will add vote totals, precinct reporting information and race developments as they become available.

Statewide Races and Constitutional Amendment
Saline County voters are also participating in contested statewide primaries for offices including governor, United States Senate and other state positions.
All voters may also cast a ballot on a proposed Kansas constitutional amendment that would replace the current system for selecting Kansas Supreme Court justices with direct elections. A “yes” vote supports electing justices, while a “no” vote supports keeping the existing nomination, gubernatorial appointment and retention-election system.
Understanding Tonight’s Results
Election-night totals are unofficial. Results can change as additional precincts, advance ballots and provisional ballots are included. Final outcomes are established through the official canvassing and certification process.
Salina311 will clearly identify how much of the vote has been reported and will not declare a race decided solely because one candidate takes an early lead.
