Salina Man Sentenced to 68 Months for Sexual Exploitation of a Child
A Salina man has been sentenced to 68 months in prison after pleading guilty to three counts of sexual exploitation of a child.
Saline County District Court Judge Jared Johnson sentenced Christopher Ryan Morgan, 34, of Salina, according to an announcement Thursday from the Kansas Attorney General’s Office.
Morgan pleaded guilty on May 18, 2026, to three counts of sexual exploitation of a child. Each charge is classified as a severity level 5 person felony under Kansas law.
Investigators determined Morgan possessed images depicting children engaged in sexually explicit conduct, according to the Attorney General’s Office.
The case was investigated by the Salina Police Department and the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office. Assistant Kansas Attorney General Ricardo Leal prosecuted the case.
The sentence was announced August 6.
