Asphalt Overlay Project to Temporarily Affect Burma Road Traffic
Saline County officials announced that an asphalt overlay construction project on Burma Road, between Falun Road and Thorstenberg Road, is scheduled to begin Monday, August 17th. The project is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete.
Through traffic in the construction zone will be guided by pilot car during the project, and drivers should expect delays. Flaggers and traffic signs will be in place to direct motorists through the area.
Drivers who regularly travel that stretch of Burma Road are advised to plan for additional travel time or seek alternate routes for the duration of the project.
