Swim Lessons Return to Salina Family YMCA September 14
The Salina Family YMCA will bring back its swim lesson program beginning September 14, offering classes for swimmers of all ages and skill levels.
The program is designed to help participants build confidence in the water while learning important swimming and water safety skills. Classes will be available for beginners who are just getting started, as well as intermediate and advanced swimmers looking to improve their technique.
“Learning to swim is one of the most valuable skills a person can have,” said Elliott Read, Aquatics Director at the Salina Family YMCA. “Our goal is to provide high-quality instruction that helps participants become safer, stronger and more confident in and around the water.”
According to the YMCA, swim lessons can provide benefits beyond recreation, including increased confidence and improved water safety awareness. Participants will receive age-appropriate instruction from qualified instructors in a structured and encouraging environment.
Community members interested in enrolling are encouraged to register early, as class availability may be limited.
