Debra Jean Stovall

Debra Jean Stovall (Clark), 72, of Beverly, Kansas, passed away on August 20, 2026. She was born on May 6, 1954.

Debra was never meant to fit into a single category. In fact, she would have found the idea of a box rather boring. She was an artist, a musician, a mother, a Granny, a great-Granny, a sister, and an unapologetic free spirit. She was Far Out AbracaDebra , and for those who knew her, that was never just a name. It was her whole way of living.

Debra was the proud mother of Allen (Judy) Stovall and Dustin (Christen) Stovall, Granny to Damian (Angela), Chase (Sarah), and Ashley (Felix), and beloved great-Granny to 10 Great-Grand-Darlings. She was the daughter of Walt and Jenette Clark and sister to Duane (Edith) Clark, Diana (Greg) Daetwiler, and David Clark.

Debra worked for the USPS in Lincoln, Kansas, but her true adventures began after hours. Her days overflowed with art, music, animals, and whatever fascinating thing caught her eye. She loved teaching art and spreading her creative spark to others. As a musician, she welcomed any audience—two legs, four legs, feathers, or fur. If you were willing to listen, you were part of her show.

And then there were the critters. Debra rescued countless animals over the years, as if her heart had endless space for every stray, lost, or quirky creature she met. She offered them a home, a fresh start, and all the love they could ever need.

She had a knack for spotting the little wonders—a flower blooming in an unlikely place, a breathtaking sunset, a silly animal, a catchy tune, or a moment that sparked laughter. She found beauty where others might have missed it entirely.

Debra always knew exactly who she was. A hippie, a free spirit, delightfully eccentric, and unapologetically herself. She never bothered with fitting in. She blazed her own trail, made her own rules, and left the world a little brighter everywhere she went.

She leaves behind music, art, stories, rescued animals, laughter, and a treasure trove of memories. Most of all, she leaves behind people whose lives are richer simply because they knew and loved her.

So keep looking for the little things. Listen for the music. Stop for the sunset. Rescue the animal. Make something beautiful. Be a little weird. Be exactly who you are.

And when you find yourself doing any of those things, think of Debra and smile.

Anna Jeanette "Buzzy" Bergeson

October 7, 1942 - August 22, 2026

Anna Jeanette “Buzzy” Bergeson, 83, of Salina, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026.

Born on October 7, 1942, in Jamestown, Kansas, Buzzy was the daughter of George A. Andersen and Anna Rosebud (Palmquist) Andersen.

On December 5, 1958, she married Gerald Bergeson, and together they shared a life built on love, family, and faith.

Buzzy is survived by her daughter, Chris Seaton (Robert) of Salina, Kansas; her son, Bryan Bergeson (Shirley) of Mora, Missouri; and eight grandchildren: Britt Wright (Michael), Cody Runft (Lindsay), Luke Seaton (Laura), Bradley Bergeson, Blair Bergeson, Benjamin Bergeson, Emily Steinert (Kyle), and Jacob Bergeson (Drew). She also leaves behind 18 great‑grandchildren who brought her tremendous joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gerald Bergeson; her son, Brett Bergeson; her brothers, Norman Andersen and Norris Andersen; and her sister, Carolyn Sanford.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Carlson‑Geisendorf Funeral Home in Salina, Kansas.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 31, 2026, at First Baptist Church in Salina, Kansas, with Pastor Kevin Hazelton officiating.

Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Cemetery near Concordia, Kansas.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Tammy Walker Cancer Center, or Gentiva Hospice.
