UPDATE: Tammy J. Arnold Selected as Next Saline County Clerk
The Saline County Republican Central Committee selected Tammy J. Arnold on Thursday, Aug. 27, to fill the unexpired term of Saline County Clerk Jamie Doss.
Arnold’s appointment is expected to take effect Sept. 13, the same day Doss’ resignation becomes effective.
According to a release from Saline County Republican Party Chair Brenda Smith, Arnold was chosen from a field of four candidates by precinct committee members in attendance.
Arnold has worked in the Saline County Treasurer’s Office for 16 years.
The certificate of election has been sent to the Governor for approval.
Smith said Arnold is “excited for this new role.”
