Video: Vehicle Catches Fire at Salina Dillons; Firefighters Use Jaws of Life to Open Hood

Salina fire crews responded to a vehicle fire in the Dillons parking lot on Ohio Street at approximately 2:10 p.m. Friday.
Salina Police were also on scene while firefighters worked to extinguish the fire.
After the flames were knocked down, firefighters used a spreader to open the vehicle’s hood and make sure the fire had been fully extinguished.
The fire generated enough heat to melt through part of the car’s hood.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire has not been released.
