Salina Parks and Recreation Hiring Sports Officials
Salina Parks and Recreation is hiring sports officials for basketball, soccer and volleyball.
The flexible, part-time positions are open to applicants age 14 and older. Applicants must have completed at least eighth grade, attend an officials clinic and pass required background checks. CPR and first-aid certification are preferred.
Most games are scheduled during evenings and weekends, with special scheduling rules for 14-year-old officials.
Pay ranges from $28 to $32 per basketball game, $24 to $28 per soccer game and $22 to $26 per volleyball game.
The city says officiating offers competitive per-game pay and an opportunity to support local sports. Students, teachers, parents and working adults are encouraged to apply.
