Salina311 Launches First-Ever Monthly Almanac
Salina311 has launched its first Monthly Almanac, a new 32-page printed record of the people, numbers and decisions shaping Salina.
The Almanac is designed as a keepsake summary of the previous month rather than another disposable newspaper. Each edition brings together the local stories that defined the last 30 days, community analytics that show how Salina is changing, and forecasts for the month ahead.
The inaugural August 2026 edition includes coverage of animal services, taxes, river renewal, public trust and housing, along with approval-rating movement and a look ahead to September.
New editions will be delivered by USPS at the beginning of each month. A subscription costs $4.95 per month, or $59.40 annually, and can be canceled at any time.
The Monthly Almanac is separate from Salina311’s twice-weekly newspaper. The newspaper covers the week as it happens, while the Almanac preserves the larger monthly picture in one bound edition.
