Saline County voters may change party affiliation starting Sept. 1

Saline County voters may file to change their party affiliation beginning Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026. Kansas does not process party affiliation changes in even-numbered years from noon June 1 until the state canvass.
Voters must complete a new registration application at www.sos.ks.gov/elections/voter-registration or visit the Saline County Clerk and Election Office, 300 W. Ash St. in Salina.
