Salina Man Arrested After Alleged Threat With Knife
A Salina man was arrested after allegedly threatening an acquaintance with a knife during a disturbance in the 400 block of N. Fifth Street.
At approximately midnight on Sept. 3, officers responded to the area after receiving a report of a disturbance. A 55-year-old man told officers that a known associate, identified as 37-year-old Levi Sanderson, was acting irrationally and possibly under the influence of an unknown substance.
According to the report, Sanderson became upset and began aggressively waving a knife at the victim before fleeing the area.
Officers searched the surrounding area but were unable to locate Sanderson at that time. At approximately 1 p.m. later that day, officers observed Sanderson in the 400 block of N. Fifth Street and took him into custody without incident.
Sanderson was booked into the Saline County Jail on a requested charge of aggravated assault.
