YMCA Hosting Community-Wide Job Fair September 14
The YMCA will host a community-wide Job Fair on September 14 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., offering local residents the opportunity to learn about employment opportunities across a variety of departments.
The event is designed to provide job seekers with a convenient way to explore careers at the YMCA while meeting current staff members and learning more about the organization’s mission to strengthen the community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
Attendees will have the opportunity to complete job applications on-site and participate in initial interviews during the event. Openings may be available in areas including youth programs, childcare, aquatics, wellness, member services, sports programming, facility operations, and more.
“Our goal is to connect with individuals who are passionate about serving others and making a positive impact in our community,” said Melissa Chandler, HR Generalist at the Salina YMCA. “Whether someone is looking for their first job, a part-time opportunity, or a long-term career, the YMCA offers a variety of ways to make a difference.”
Job seekers interested in any department are encouraged to attend. The job fair will be held at the YMCA, located at 570 YMCA Drive in Salina.
The YMCA encourages attendees to bring a resume if available, although resumes are not required.
