The T-1000 Rolls Into Salina: Robert Patrick Stops Overnight on Harley Ride

Actor Robert Patrick, best known for portraying the T-1000 in “Terminator 2: Judgment Day,” made an overnight stop in Salina during a cross-country motorcycle ride.

Patrick shared the stop while documenting his trip, saying he had reached Salina after a roughly 700-mile day on his Harley-Davidson.

“Made it to Salina, Kansas. It’s very hot here. It’s 89 degrees and it’s midnight,” Patrick said. “It was hot going through Kansas.”

Patrick said he had started the day in Grand Junction, Colorado, before riding east through the Rocky Mountains and across Kansas.

“Beautiful ride through the Rockies, the Green River, through Vail, all that — just beautiful,” Patrick said. “Just a beautiful ride all day today. Fantastic. Bike’s running unbelievable.”

Patrick also showed his motorcycle parked for the night in Salina, describing it as “sitting under the lights, taking a rest.”

The Salina stop was only a pause in a much longer trip. Patrick said he planned to continue east Wednesday, traveling into Illinois before reaching Cincinnati on Thursday for an appearance at HorrorHound Weekend.

Patrick has appeared in dozens of films and television series during his career, but remains widely recognized for his role opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1991 blockbuster “Terminator 2: Judgment Day.” He has also appeared in “The X-Files,” “The Sopranos,” “Peacemaker” and other productions.

For one night, however, the Hollywood actor and longtime motorcycle enthusiast was simply another traveler stopping in Salina before continuing east.

“The ride continues tomorrow,” Patrick said.
