Salina Woman Arrested Following Neighborhood Dispute

A Salina woman was arrested Saturday evening following an altercation between neighbors in the 900 block of Gypsum Avenue.

At approximately 6:15 p.m. on Sept. 12, officers were in the area on an unrelated call when several neighbors became involved in an argument. During the dispute, a 44-year-old woman was allegedly struck by 37-year-old Katherine Lingenfelter.

According to police, the victim suffered a cut above her eye after being punched. The injury required stitches.

Lingenfelter was arrested and booked into the Saline County Jail on a requested charge of aggravated battery.
