Salina Teen Arrested Following Domestic Disturbance on State Street

A Salina teenager was arrested Thursday evening following a reported domestic disturbance in the 400 block of State Street.

Officers responded to the area at approximately 9 p.m. on Sept. 17. According to police, a physical altercation broke out between two individuals as officers arrived on scene.

After separating those involved, officers learned the dispute reportedly began over a damaged e-bike charger and escalated into a physical confrontation.

Police identified the suspect as 19-year-old Haley J. Randell of Salina.

Randell was arrested and booked into the Saline County Jail on a requested charge of aggravated domestic battery.

The victim, an 18-year-old woman, did not require medical treatment.
