Confirmed: 7 Brew Coffee Is Coming to South Ninth Street in Salina

The mystery along South Ninth Street is over: 7 Brew Coffee is officially coming to Salina.

A full City of Salina building permit obtained by Salina311 confirms that the new commercial building under construction at 2530 S. Ninth Street is a 7 Brew coffee shop. Permit #26-0005-NEW was issued Aug. 21 and specifically lists the work as “Construction of 7Brew coffee shop.”

The permit lists 7Brew as the business, Austin Fritts as the applicant, RAF Salina LLC as the property owner and Accel Construction LLC as the general contractor.

The confirmation closes the loop on a project Salina311 has been following for several months.

Salina311 first reported on May 21 that economic development sources had connected 7 Brew to a future Salina location, although an address and construction timeline were not publicly available at the time. 

Then, on Sept. 17, Salina311 reported construction activity at 2530 S. Ninth Street after finding the property in the city's August building permit activity report. That report showed an active permit for a new commercial building but did not identify the tenant, leaving the connection to 7 Brew unconfirmed. 

The full building permit now provides that confirmation.

7 Brew operates a drive-thru-focused beverage concept offering coffee, energy drinks, teas, lemonades, smoothies, shakes and other customizable drinks. The company already has locations in several Kansas communities.

The permit confirms construction at the Salina site, but it does not provide an anticipated opening date.
