Friday Night Football: Where Every Saline County Team Plays Tonight

Friday night football returns tonight with all five Saline County high school teams in action, including two games being played in Salina.

Salina South and Sacred Heart will play at home, while Salina Central, Southeast of Saline and Ell-Saline hit the road.

Here's the Friday night lineup.

Valley Center at Salina South

7 p.m. | Salina Stadium

Salina South enters Friday at 2-1 and returns home to face Valley Center.

The Cougars opened the season with a 35-33 Mayor's Cup victory over Salina Central before falling to Maize. South bounced back last week with a 31-10 win over Hutchinson.

Sacred Heart vs. Republic County

7 p.m. | Salina

Sacred Heart also gets a home game Friday as the Knights host Republic County.

The Knights enter the matchup 2-1, opening the season with wins over Valley Heights and Ellsworth before falling to Lyons last week.

Salina Central at Eisenhower

7 p.m. | Goddard

Salina Central takes its 2-1 record on the road to face Eisenhower.

After losing the season opener to Salina South by two points, Central has won two straight, defeating Goddard and Arkansas City.

Eisenhower also enters Friday at 2-1.

Southeast of Saline at Marysville

7 p.m. | Marysville

Southeast of Saline enters Friday as the only undefeated Saline County team at 3-0.

The Trojans have opened the season with wins over Beloit, Lyons and Ellsworth.

Southeast defeated Lyons 55-6 before beating Ellsworth 48-9 last week.

Ell-Saline at Trego

7 p.m. | WaKeeney

Ell-Saline travels west Friday looking for its first victory of the season.

The Cardinals enter the game 0-3, while Trego enters at 2-1.

Two Games in Salina

For fans looking to stay in town Friday night, both Salina South and Sacred Heart are at home, with each game scheduled for 7 p.m.

Salina Central travels to Goddard, Southeast of Saline heads to Marysville and Ell-Saline makes the trip to WaKeeney.

All five teams are scheduled to kick off at approximately 7 p.m.
