Salina Woman Arrested Following Reported Assault on South Broadway

A Salina woman was arrested Saturday night following a reported sexual and physical assault in the 600 block of S. Broadway.
According to police, an adult male contacted officers shortly before 9 p.m. on Sept. 26 and reported that a woman had grabbed him, pushed him to the ground, climbed on top of him, and inappropriately touched him. The victim further reported that the woman removed his belt during the incident.
The man told officers he was able to kick the suspect away, flee to a nearby business, and contact law enforcement.
Officers later located the suspect in the 1400 block of Haven and identified her as 46-year-old Christine K. Musgrove. She was taken into custody without incident.
Police reported that while being transported, Musgrove urinated in the back of the patrol vehicle, attempted to spit at officers, and became resistant with law enforcement.
Musgrove was booked into the Saline County Jail on requested charges of robbery, attempted rape, battery, assault on a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct, and felony interference with law enforcement.
