Haven Academy students explore American Revolution at Expedition Liberty Day Camp

Haven Academy of Salina held an Expedition Liberty Day Camp focused on the American Revolution.

Jim and Natalee Ganyon of Stories and More visited as George and Martha Washington. Students practiced writing in cipher code with Dr. Ball, learned how American Revolutionists communicated, and studied events and ideas that led to the Revolution with Mrs. DeArvil.

The academy said the morning was designed to help students learn about the nation’s past and the people who shaped it.
