Salina Man Arrested Following Disturbance at YaYa's Bistro
A Salina man was arrested Wednesday night following a disturbance at YaYa's Bistro, 251 S. Santa Fe.
At approximately 10 p.m. on Sept. 30, officers responded to the restaurant after receiving reports of an intoxicated and disorderly individual. Employees told officers that 36-year-old Justin Trusty entered the business already intoxicated.
According to police, when an employee instructed Trusty to leave, he refused and allegedly pushed an employee before acting as though he was going to strike the employee.
Officers arrived and took Trusty into custody without incident. He was transported to a local hospital for medical clearance prior to being booked into jail.
While at the hospital, Trusty allegedly threatened to strike and kill officers.
Trusty was later booked into the Saline County Jail on requested charges of criminal threat, battery, assault, criminal trespass, assault on a law enforcement officer, and disorderly conduct.
