Crime Stoppers Seeks Information After Two Thefts at Salina Walmart
SALINA, Kan. — Salina/Saline County Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in connection with two thefts reported at Walmart, 2900 S. Ninth St., on Sept. 26.
According to Crime Stoppers, a person entered the store at about 10 a.m., selected several items and took a Black & Decker clothes iron to customer service, where it was returned in exchange for a gift card.
The person then allegedly left the store without paying for a Shark carpet cleaner and two Shark StainStriker bottles. The estimated loss from the first incident was approximately $300.
Crime Stoppers said the same person returned to Walmart at approximately 8:45 p.m. that day and allegedly stole a Chief’s Poncho, two Bed in Boxes and a pillow. The estimated loss in the second incident was approximately $430.
Authorities released an image of the person they are seeking to identify.
