Homes for sale in Salina fall 38% from August

Salina had 106 homes for sale on Saturday, Oct. 3, down from 172 on Tuesday, Aug. 18 — about 38% fewer.

On those same city listings, the typical asking price was $209,950 on Aug. 18 and $232,000 on Oct. 3. 

Across the country, homes listed for sale have been rising. Realtor.com counted about 1.14 million homes listed for sale in August and about 1.16 million in September, up 1.9% from August. The national median list price was $424,500 in August and $419,250 in September.
