What changed in Salina this week
Housing
Salina had 106 homes for sale on Oct. 3, down from 140 on Sep. 26, about 24% fewer. The typical asking price was $232,000, compared with $219,900 on Sep. 26. The typical price per square foot held at $128.14, against $128.72 a week earlier. A shorter list of homes can lift the typical asking price by itself, so that higher price is not evidence that houses got more expensive. These counts cover homes for sale in the city and leave out land, mobile homes, and nearby towns.
