Spooky season showdown: First four homes enter Salina311's Halloween Home Decorating Contest

The skeletons are out, the lights are glowing and Salina's front yards are getting spooky. The first four homes have entered Salina311's Halloween Home Decorating Contest, and there's still time to add yours.

So many people asked for more time that entries are now open through Thursday, Oct. 29. To enter, email a photo of your home, the street address, your first and last name and your email address to [email protected] with the subject line "Halloween Contest."

Salina311 will pick 10 finalists, and then it's up to you. Voting opens Friday, Oct. 30, right here on this page and runs through Halloween, Saturday, Oct. 31. Bookmark it or share the link so you can come back and vote.

The winner will be announced Sunday, Nov. 1. The winner and runners-up will get prizes and giveaways.
