Salina Public Library Relocates Collections for Youth Services Construction

The Salina Public Library has temporarily relocated several spaces and collections in preparation for the construction of a new Youth Services space.

According to library officials, some programs will be held in different locations during the construction period. The Prescott Room and Technology Conference Room are not available for reservations at this time.

Youth and Teen materials have been moved to the east side of the main floor, in the area that formerly housed adult media. Adult Media has been relocated between the adult fiction and nonfiction sections.

Library staff are available to assist patrons in locating materials during the transition period. Patrons can also place holds on items they are looking for.
