BFRA Advisory Board to Hold Special Meeting on NAIA Baseball Opening Round Proposal

The BFRA Advisory Board will hold a special meeting Thursday to consider a request from Kansas Wesleyan University related to potentially hosting the NAIA Baseball National Championship Opening Round in Salina.

The event is tentatively scheduled for the second week of May.

A key part of the meeting will be a KWU proposal and a vote on whether to allow metal cleats to be used during the event. According to the meeting notice, the approval would apply only during the tournament.
