Bill Stout Memorial Rodeo Raises Funds for Local Scholarships

The 2nd annual Bulls, Broncs & Barrels - Bill Stout Memorial Rodeo took place May 9, 2026, in Brookville, featuring Bell Sidewinder Bulls and Barrels.

Bill Stout was the kind of man whose presence left a lasting impression.  The man that "knew no stranger", who made life better for everyone around him.  His intoxicating laughter and actions would gather the attention of anyone around.  He was always ready to help anyone he could and not ask for anything in return. Even after his death in 2024, a group of volunteers have kept his name alive each year with the Bull, Broncs & Barrels Rodeo in his memory.  Although this is the second year of the rodeo, it was the first year for The Bill Stout Memorial Scholarship.  Collin Dent and Reese Krone, graduating seniors from Ell-Saline High School, received the first set of scholarships.  (Information provided by Dustin Stout, son of Bill Stout)
