Can’t Afford Festival Admission? Donor-Funded Program May Help With Wristband and Free Drink Coupon
Salina Arts & Humanities and the Smoky Hill River Festival are again offering admission assistance for individuals and families who may not be able to afford to attend this year’s event.
The Festival Families First program provides Festival admission through support from local businesses and organizations. The program is intended for families or individuals who might otherwise be unable to purchase admission to the Smoky Hill River Festival.
Requests must be submitted by May 31, 2026.
Once a request is reviewed, admission may be made available for pickup or mailed to recipients. The Festival announcement also states that those receiving admission will receive a free drink coupon, one per person.
The 2026 Smoky Hill River Festival is scheduled for June 11–14 at Oakdale Park. Admission is by Festival wristband only. Gate admission is listed at $20 for a four-day wristband or $10 for a daily wristband, while children 11 and younger are admitted free.
The program is designed to keep the Festival accessible for more Salina-area residents, especially families who may otherwise be priced out of attending one of the community’s largest annual events.
Requests must be received through the Festival Families First form by May 31, 2026.
