Field Crops Report: Winter wheat condition rated 23% very poor, 32% poor, 30% fair, 14% good, and 1% excellent. Winter wheat headed was 97%, ahead of 92% last year and 87% for the five-year average. Coloring was 63%, well ahead of 29% last year and 19% average. Mature was 10%.
Corn condition rated 2% very poor, 4% poor, 32% fair, 57% good, and 5% excellent. Corn planted was 77%, behind 83% last year, and near 79% average. Emerged was 57%, behind 62% last year, and near 58% average.
Soybeans planted was 66%, equal to last year, and ahead of 56% average. Emerged was 40%, near 39% last year, and ahead of 33% average.
Sorghum planted was 17%, near 20% last year, and equal to average.

Sunflowers planted was 17%, near 13% last year, and ahead of 11% average.
