Salina Police Seek Suspect in Two Shoplifting Incidents at Menard's
The Salina Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a man suspected of shoplifting from the Menard's store at 805 Virginia Court on two separate occasions, with a combined estimated loss of approximately $200.
According to police, on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, a man entered the store and picked up several items, including a belt sander, sandpaper, and two circuit breakers. He then exited through the garden section without paying. The empty belt sander box was found near the exit.
Investigators determined the same individual had also taken items from the store on June 2, 2026. During that visit, he reportedly left without paying for snack items, a deadbolt lock, and rechargeable batteries.
