Driver Stopped At 37 MPH in 20 MPH School Zone

A Salina police officer stopped a driver traveling 37 mph in a posted 20 mph school zone on Belmont Boulevard on Tuesday morning.
Corporal Chambers was monitoring the active school zone when the stop occurred, according to the Salina Police Department.
Police reminded drivers to reduce their speed and watch for children walking, biking and crossing streets near schools.
