Sacred Heart Volleyball and Tennis Set for Saturday Competition
Sacred Heart athletes will be in action across the region Saturday, Sept. 12.
The varsity volleyball team is scheduled to compete in the Ellsworth Tournament beginning at 8 a.m., while the varsity girls tennis team is scheduled to compete at Salina Central beginning at 9 a.m.
The two events continue a busy stretch for Sacred Heart’s fall athletic programs.
The volleyball team will have additional matches later in September, including contests against Ellsworth and Ell-Saline, according to the school’s athletics calendar. The girls tennis team also has additional meets scheduled later this month, including competitions at Clay Center and Salina South.
Saturday’s schedule gives Sacred Heart athletes competition both on the road and at home in Salina, with the tennis team competing locally at Salina Central while volleyball travels to Ellsworth.
