Plum Drive to close east of Willow Drive for water main replacement

Plum Drive will close east of Willow Drive beginning Wednesday, Oct. 28, while crews replace a water main, the City of Salina announced.

Mies Construction will install traffic control and remove pavement to replace the water main east of the intersection, according to the city. Access to Willow Drive from Plum Drive will be prohibited during the work.

The project is expected to last two weeks and be completed by Nov. 11, weather permitting.

Barriers will be in place to protect workers. Motorists may encounter minor delays and are encouraged to avoid work zones when possible, the city said.
