President Donald Trump's midterm rally scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 31, at Salina Regional Airport has been canceled, Salina311 has learned through an interview.
The rally was set to be held at Salina Regional Airport Hangar 509, 2734 Arnold Court, with doors opening at 8:30 a.m. and the president's remarks scheduled for noon.
Pieter Miller, executive director of the Salina Airport Authority, also confirmed the cancellation to Salina311. Miller said the airport was informed only that the event was canceled because of a scheduling conflict.
As of 10:52 a.m. Thursday, the event's registration page still listed the rally.
